TUNT has officially released their new 7-song EP, “Runaway,” a raw blast of grunge revivalism from Indianapolis, Indiana.
Recorded at The Pop Machine with Grammy-nominated Producer/Engineer Eric Klee Johnson, “Runaway” captures the band’s heavy, melodic, and unpolished edge — loud guitars, driving rhythms, and a sound that feels both familiar and new. The album was also helped along in production by Mark Alexander Southerland, working alongside Johnson to bring the release into its final form.
The release features Talon Southerland on guitar and vocals, Zack Abdul on second guitar, Alexis Santana on bass, and Oliver on drums.
“Runaway” leans into the spirit of 90s alternative rock while pushing TUNT’s own identity forward: gritty, emotional, direct, and built for volume. The EP moves through distorted hooks, restless energy, and a sense of urgency that defines the band’s first major statement.
Engineered, Co-Produced and Mixed by Eric Klee Johnson at The Pop Machine, with additional production support from Mark Alexander Southerland.
